The tower with 64 discs - how long will it take?

Now it is pretty easy. With the given formula we can simply calculate the number of moves that the monks need to move the tower of 64 discs from one place to the other. If the monks act acording to our strategy (I am pretty sure that this is the quickest way), then it will take 18446744073709551615 moves to move the entire tower.
Wow, thats a number! How longs this will take, depends on the speed of the monks. Let`s assume, that these guys are able to move on disc in each second (which seems to be real fast, even for holy men) and let`s further assume that they will work without any break and at last let`s assume that they will never make any mistake, than the total time will be18446744073709551615 seconds, which is 584 942 417400 years !

Even if the monks have started to work 2000 years ago, it will still take a little time until they are finished. So, there is plenty of time to make a party, and I hope I will get your invitation.
